It is our pleasure to introduce our restaurant and its long tradition which began in 1973, when Marin Žuvela Doda enriched the offer of Vela Luka and established “Pod bore” restaurant.
The restaurant has welcomed many foreign and home guests as well as many personalities from economic, cultural, sport, religious and political scenes. Our greatest honour was to host the first Croatian president dr. Franjo Tuđman and his leadership (09.10.1995).
We put an effort to gain the trust of each of our customers, with our hospitality, quality of food and beverages prepared in the most traditional way. With our home made wine, olive oil, shnaps, and vinegar we present the vineyards and olive grooves of the family Žuvela Doda.
All our culinary creations are made with love based on a long time tradition in Vela Luka gastronomy. On request of our guests we enriched the menu; beside the fish and meat specalities we are offering pizza’s and home made bread.
In a renewed restaurant (12.04.2009.), with the quality of our work, we want to maintain our tradition and make your visit memorable.
